OUR MISSION
We make Scotch Whisky by trade, but our number one mission is to protect both people and the planet, to create a world better than the one we found.
Pure Scot was born from nature, by an Aussie surfer when out on the waves, so naturally, like him, we’re passionately invested in protecting our home.
We’re proud members of 1% For The Planet, so you can be confident that at least 1% of every purchase goes directly to environmental initiatives and foundations that are working hard to protect our planet.
We’re continually aiming to improve our production methods and materials to reduce our carbon emissions and waste, partnering with like-minded suppliers and committing to making our distillery in Scotland carbon neutral by 2024.
And in 2020, we joined forces with one of the most passionate environmentalists we know, world class free surfer, Dave Rastovich, to further our mission and help us give a voice to the environmental issues we believe are important.
But the work is never done, so we’re currently working becoming a certified B-Corporation and we’re putting together a Company Green Guide that documents what we’re doing now and what we’re working hard to achieve over the next 5 years.
